Notice of Financial Incentive: Learn how our rewards and promotional programs work and how your information is used.

The Reward Points Program allows you to earn points for certain actions you take on the site. Points are awarded from purchases on qualifying items once your order is fully invoiced. Purchases made on discounted items do not qualify for Rewards Points. This includes products discounted with cart price rules, coupon codes, buy X get Y free promotions, free line spooling promotions, or any other methods of discount or promotion.

Benefits of Reward Points for Registered Customers

Once you register you will be able to earn and accrue reward points, which are then redeemable at time of purchase towards the cost of your order. Rewards are an added bonus to your shopping experience on our online fishing store and just one of the ways we thank you for being a loyal customer.

Earning Reward Points

Rewards can currently be earned for the following actions:

  • Making qualifying purchases when logged into your account - purchases on qualifying items earn you points based on the price of products purchased and these points are added to your Reward Points balance after your order is shipped. You must be logged into your account for points to be awarded.
  • Non-discounted products generally qualify for reward points. Gift cards and products from some manufacturers do not qualify for reward points.
  • Some manufacturers do not allow reward points to be earned on their products. When this applies, a message will be displayed on the product page.
  • Items that are discounted or on promotion do not qualify for rewards points.
  • Clearance items do not qualify for reward points.
  • Orders that have applied shopping cart discounts do not qualify for rewards points.

Points are earned at a rate of 5 points for every US dollar spent on products only. This excludes any amount spent on taxes and shipping, and on excluded products listed above. You will receive your points once your order is fully invoiced. For credit card orders, points are awarded when all products are shipped. For PayPal orders, points are awarded after the order is placed.

For orders that are only partially fulfilled, you will only earn points on qualifying items that were fulfilled.

Rewards Points Multiplier Promotion

During rewards points multiplier promotions, eligible products from participating manufacturers will earn multiple times the normal rewards points rate.

Important Eligibility Information

The rewards points multiplier promotions are based on the manufacturer assigned to the product.

If a product is assigned to a participating manufacturer, it will qualify for the promotional multiplier unless otherwise excluded.

Because Rewards Point eligibility is determined at the product level, some items may not qualify even if they contain components from a participating manufacturer.

Custom Options and Add-On Services

Some products include optional add-ons such as spooling services, rigging services, custom components, or other upgrades.

These add-ons may be assigned to a different manufacturer than the product itself and may not qualify for the rewards points multiplier promotions.

As a result, the base product may earn multiple times rewards points, while certain options or services added to the same order may earn standard rewards points or no rewards points at all.

Rod & Reel Combos

Some rod and reel combos may include products from participating manufacturers but still may not qualify for the rewards points multiplier promotion. While logged in, check the combo in your cart to see if the product qualifies. If it qualifies, you will see a message about bonus points. Otherwise, the combo is excluded from the promotion.

Redeeming Reward Points

You can redeem your reward points at checkout. If you have accumulated enough points to redeem them you will have the option of using points as one of the payment methods. The option to use reward points, as well as your balance and the monetary equivalent this balance, will be shown to you in the Payment Method area of the checkout. Look for a "Use reward points" button. Redeemable reward points can be used in conjunction with other payment methods such as credit cards, gift cards and more.

Points can be redeemed at checkout at the rate of $1 for every 200 points. You must have at least 1,000 points to redeem your points at checkout.

Reward Points Minimums and Maximums

Reward points are capped at a minimum value of 1000 points required for redemption. You will not be able to use your reward points until you accrue at least 1000 points, at which point they will become available in checkout.

Reward points may also be capped at the maximum value of 50,000 points which can be accrued. You will need to redeem your accrued points before you are able to earn more points.

Managing My Reward Points

You have the ability to view and manage your points through your Customer Account. From your account you will be able to view your total points (and currency equivalent), minimum needed to redeem, whether you have reached the maximum points limit and a cumulative history of points acquired, redeemed and lost. The history record will retain and display historical rates and currency for informational purposes. The history will also show you comprehensive informational messages regarding points, including expiration notifications.

Reward Points Expiration

Reward points expire 1 year from the day the of the order. Points will expire in the order from which they were first earned.

Note: You can sign up to receive email notifications each time your balance changes when you either earn, redeem or lose points, as well as point expiration notifications. This option is found in the Reward Points section of the My Account area.

Frequently Asked Questions - FAQs

Do orders placed via the phone qualify for Reward Points?

No, orders must be placed online on this website for points to be applied to your account. Phone orders do not flow through the website so there is no way for reward points to apply to these orders. While talking with a sales representative on the phone, you may request they send you a "Share Cart" link so that you can check out online and have your order qualify for Reward Points.

What happens if I forget to Log In when placing my order?

You will not earn points on your order if you are not logged in. You must be logged in while placing your order to earn points. Logging in attaches the order to your account, so that points can be earned.

I can't find the "Use reward points" button on checkout

Please check that you are logged in and that you have at least 1,000 points on your account.

Do I earn points on Taxes and Shipping?

No, you do not earn points on any amount spent on taxes or shipping.

Why didn't I earn points on my order?

Please check that you were logged in when you placed your order. Log into your account and see if the order shows up in your account. If it is not there, then you did a guest checkout, which does not qualify for reward points.

If you were logged in, check that your order had qualifying items. Some products do not qualify because they are discounted, on promotion, clearance items, gift cards, or restricted by the manufacturer. Manufacturer-restricted products will display a message on the product page. See the "Earning Reward Points" section above for details.

If you were logged in and had qualifying items, check if your order has fully shipped. Open orders will not be awarded points until the order is completed, or remaining items canceled so the order can be closed out.
